Sales Representative & Customer Service Representative (Part-Time – Bastrop, TX)

 

Are you passionate about helping others and looking for meaningful work? We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients. This role involves engaging with healthcare providers, conducting product demonstrations, managing accounts, and providing exceptional customer service to foster long-term partnerships. The Sales and Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.  This is a hybrid position that would be working in the office one day a week and doing sales calls the remainder of the week for both offices.

 
 

Responsibilities of this position: 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and clients through exceptional service and support.

  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, effectively communicating value to potential customers.

  • Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring client needs are met and exceeded.

  • Manage existing accounts, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Provide product information and guidance to clients, assisting them in making informed decisions.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and enhance market positioning.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account management using office software.

  • Participate in outside sales activities, including networking events, trade shows, and community outreach, to expand the client base.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for helping people.

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the medical equipment or healthcare industry.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers and close sales effectively.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of motivating oneself and others towards achieving targets.

  • Proficiency in conducting product demonstrations that effectively engage and educate customers.

  • Experience in account management with a focus on building long-term relationships and customer loyalty.

  • Proficiency in utilizing office software, including Microsoft Word, OneNote, and CRM systems, with a strong emphasis on leveraging technology for efficient documentation, reporting, and data management.

  • Described as super tech savvy by yourself and others that you have worked with.

  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions and adapt strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor and a passion for helping others.
